MANGO SWEETNESS
Lush deep yellow verging on orange ~ the color of ripe Mango fruit. The vibration of this color sings of health and vitality. I simply had to make this lamp as an ode to that lusciousness.

HONEYCOMBE AMBER
The dynamics of mixing selected papers to create effects thrills the designer in me. A rich egg yolk Nepalese yellow paper wrapped in fibrous amate weaves glow like an illuminated amber honeycomb. Amate has been made in the same fashion by indigenous Otami Indians in the mountains of Mexico for hundreds of years and brings that ancient quality with it. The marriage of these two beauties produces a decorative lamp shade with a 'bejeweled' effect that delights the eye and enriches the entire room.
